Tokyo: Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) is dissolving its partnership with Maersk Line and Hamburg Sud, on joint services on the Asia-South America East Coast/South Africa route.
NYK will form a partnership with Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) to continue servicing the route. It will be HMM's first service connecting Asia with the South America East Coast/South Africa. The new joint service will be a weekly one operated with 10 2,500 teu containerships. [09/01/08]
