NYK secures Taiwan LNG contract

Taipei: Chinese Petroleum Corp has granted Japan's NYK a 25-year contract for four LNG ships to move gas from Qatar to a new terminal near Taipei. The contract, starting 2008, is worth as much as $2.7bn a year to move 3m tonnes annually.  [11/07/06]
