Oil tanker explosion kills seven workers in China yard
An Indian oil tanker exploded and caught fire at a shipyard in China's Zhejiang province on Tuesday morning, leading to the deaths of seven workers, local reports said.

Seven Chinese workers were reportedly repairing the oil tanker at Haizhou Shipyard in Zhoushan city when the explosion occurred in the early morning of 28 January, reports quoted a spokesman with the provincial work safety supervision bureau.

The 50,000-dwt tanker was not loaded with cargo when the accident happened.

The accident is currently under investigation.
