Ocean Network Express' (ONE) first magenta coloured containership has been making its debut at Asian ports.

The 8,560 teu ONE Committment is the first vessel to be painted in ONE's distinctive magenta branding and is deployed on THE Alliance's transpacific PN2 service.

The ONE Committment started her maiden voyage from Singapore 15 May calling Laem Chabang, Cai Mep and Kaohsiung before calling in Yantian International Container Terminal (YICT), China on 25 May (pictured).

“ONE is excited to unveil our first magenta vessel and we would like to thank YICT on this monumental occasion. Her arrival is hailed as a significant milestone for ONE,” said Shunichiro Mizukami, region head of East Asia, managing director, ONE (East Asia).

newsletterFrom Yantian the vessel will cross the Pacific to call Tacoma and Vancouver.

On the return voyage the ONE Commitment will call the ports of Tokyo, Kobe, Kaohsiung and Singapore.

ONE is a joint venture of the container line divisions of Japanese shipowners NYK, Mitsui OSK Lines, and K Line, which is headquartered in Singapore and started operations on 1 April.
