Mumbai: The government for the Indian state of Orissa (pictured in red) has approved a proposal from APJ-Bharati Shipping Company for to build a shipyard near Dhamra, 150 kms from Bhubaneswar. The Rs 2,200 crore ($555m) yard will be completed in three phases within 72 months of the signing of the memorandum of understanding, once it receives the second phase of approvals - from a high-level clearance committee headed by the Navin Patnaik, the Chief Minister of Orissa.
