Mumbai: The world's largest shipping agency network Multiport has announced the appointment of a new member for India: The Parekh Marine Agency. The agency, which boasts 18 offices and 500 employees across India, currently holds accounts for Delmas, France (for shipments to and from Africa) and Sinokor, Korea (which covers operations between Colombo, Dubai and Nhava Sheva). STAR Ship International Malaysia also has an account with Parekh to co-ordinate its container operations between Singapore and Mumbai.

"In turn, Parekh offers Multiport considerable knowledge and expertise of the local area. It adds to our expertise and provides additional security for principals with vessels visiting India."
