Singapore: PSA Singapore Terminals has awarded Kalmar Industries a record order of 247 terminal tractors. Delveries will take place from July through end-2007. While design of the units and initial assembly will take place in Kansas, the majority of the terminal tractors will be assembled at the Kalmar Shanghai facility. "Close cooperation between Kalmar factories in the USA and China will play a vital role in our ability to supply the machines built to the customer's specifications and in a timely manner," said Leif Wallin, president Kalmar Trailer Handling.
