PSA pulls out of Brunei

Singapore: After six years of operating in Brunei PSA International has pulled out of Muara Port, effective April 1, 2007. Containerisation out of Brunei has never really taken off. Muara Container Terminal is a natural deepwater berth with a 250 metre quay, two cranes and an annual capacity of 220,000 teu. In the meantime, PSA International has just won the rights to operate the deepwater port of Gwadar in Pakistan.  [24/01/07]
