Qingdao Port opens two new terminals

Qingdao: The third phase of container terminal development at Qingdao City's Qianwan Port and the China Merchants Qingdao Container Terminal are now operational. The two terminals have eight berths. The third phase of container terminal at Qianwan Port includes seven berths, with a designed annual cargo throughput capacity of 2.8m teu while the China Merchants Qingdao Container Terminal has one berth capable of handling 100,000 dwt container ships.  [11/01/07]
