Doha: Technical studies of a new 140metre berth expansion at Qatar's Port of Ras Laffan, the world's largest LNG exporting facility, have been completed by BMT SeaTech, which concludes the project is accessible and creates no adverse effects on navigation within the harbour area. Commissioned by Qatar Shell GTL Ltd, the studies were carried out on site in Qatar by BMT SeaTech nautical staff using the company's ship handling and manoeuvring simulator, PC Rembrandt. [28/07/06]
