Tokyo: Japan's fourth largest shipping firm Sanko Steamship has dispatched Toshiro Ueyama as a nominee of board of directors to launch business activities at its joint venture company with Seahorse Ship Agencies named Sanko Kisen Seahorse (India) in Mumbai, India. The company, in which Sanko holds a majority 51% stake, was formed in September 26, 2007 at a cost of Rs5m ($125,250.5). Its operations range from being a ship agency to ship-chartering and broking, ship operation and ship management. [04/04/08]
