SapuraKencana picks up contracts worth $215m
SapuraKencana Petroleum has picked up more jobs with its units securing several contracts worth a total of $215m for pipelines, provision of a drilling rig and maintenance services.

The oil and gas services provider said in a stock market announcement that a consortium of SapuraKencana TL Offshore and SapuraKencana HL was awarded a contract by India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the B127 cluster pipeline RTR project.

The 20-month contract covers building 11 pipeline systems and topside modifications in the B127 field and surrounding Mumbai High fields located off the west coast of India.

 SapuraKencana Drilling Asia was awarded a contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum to provide its tender assist drilling rig SKD Pelaut for use as a bespoke technical solution for its development drilling plan offshore Brunei. The contract is for two years with options to extend for another two years.

The last contract is a short two-month job in local Malaysian waters for SapuraKencana Subsea Services to provide Petronas exploration unit Petronas Carigali with underwater maintenance services for its Sepat mobile offshore production unit (MOPU).

The scope of work consists of inspection, maintenance, repairs, drilling support and other work for Petronas Carigali’s underwater facilities in the water near shore and offshore Peninsular Malaysia at the Sepat field.
