SCI mulls more AHTS newbuilds

Mumbai: State-owned Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) is planning to order 10 more anchor handling and tug supply (AHTS) vessels of various sizes, according to an internal report. These would add to its offshore fleet of 10 OSVs, which it operates for Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGCO). SCI already has four AHTS on order with Bharati Shipyard. for delivery in 2010-11.  [03/10/08]
