Oslo: John Fredriksen's Seadrill is continuing its rig newbuilding order spree with a pair of jack-ups in China. Seadrill is ordering two jack-up drilling rigs from Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Offshore Co (DSIC) for $380m in total. The rigs are scheduled to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2012 and the first quarter 2013. "We expect market and conditions for premium jack-up rigs to continue to improve," said Alf C Thorkildsen, ceo of Seadrill Management. [16/11/10
