Kuala Lumpur: New Petronas ceo Datuk Shamsul Azhar Abbas has been appointed chairman of Malaysia's largest shipowner MISC. Datuk Shamsul takes over as chairman at MISC from Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, who also replaced in the top job at Petronas. The state oil and gas firm owns 65% of the shipping company. Datuk Shamsul was ceo of MISC from 2004 till the beginning of 2009. [17/02/10]
