Singapore: According to initial reports from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) box throughput at Singapore last month leapt 17.9% year-on-year to 2.183m teu in February, compared to 1.851m teu in the same month last year. The figure is still a long way off the 2.7m teu monthly record achieved in 2008. [16/03/10]
