Seoul: SLS Shipbuilding Co has received orders for four 44,000dwt parcel tankers plus four options from Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group (SNTG). Price of the four firm orders is put at $340 with deliveries scheduled from mid 2010 to early 2011. The fully double-hulled newbuildings will have a combination of 24 stainless steel tanks and 15 coated tanks, satisfying IMO type I, II and III requirements. They will follow the design of the four parcel tankers that SNTG announced ordering in June 2005 from ShinA Shipbuilding Co, acquired by SLS earlier this year. [03/10/06]
