Seoul: STX Offshore and Shipbuilding has bagged an order for six LR product tankers from Ofer Group's Tanker Pacific. The Singapore-based tanker company inked a deal with STX on Thursday for six 74,500 dwt product tankers, the delivery date was not disclosed. The six tankers were part of $360m in orders announced by the South Korean shipbuilder. STX is also won an order for three 57,500 dwt supramax bulkers from an undisclosed European owner. So far this year the shipbuilder has clinched $2.83bn in orders for 42 newbuildings. [28/06/10]
