STX to enter VLCC business

Seoul:  South Korea's STX Shipbuilding will enter the VLCC construction field, according to local media, with a first order likely by June this year. This follows on from this week's first ever capesize orders plus its LNG debut earlier this year. STX has for years been focused on product carriers and mid-sized boxships.  [29/03/07]
