Hong Kong: CSAV Norasia has launched a new SuperGalex service connecting central and southern China to the Indian Subcontinent and the Middle East offering one of the fastest transit times to Northwest India from east Asia (Chiwan to Nhava Sheva in 11 days). CSAV Norasia will operate two of the five ships on this service, in a partnership with Hanjin and Laurel Navigation. Port rotation is as follows: Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, Singapore, Colombo, Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ali, Karachi, Mundra, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai. The five ships will have an average capacity of 2,800 teu and speed of 21 knots. [20/07/06]
