The LNG carrier newbuild will feature XDF propulsion and is the first in TMS Cardiff Gas’ X Carrier Series orders, which will expand the company’s fleet of manage vessels to 10. The newbuild is due to be delivered by HHI in 2020 and the owner has an option for a second vessel.
The newbuild will be chartered to Total Gas & Power for a period of seven years.
TMS Cardiff Gas said it maintained an appetite for growth in the sector.
