Triyards bags contracts to build two ice-class MPSVs
Engineering and fabrication services provider Triyards Holdings has secured deals to build two ice-class multi-purpose support vessels (MPSVs) as well as a turret fabrication job worth over $100m.

The MPSV contracts were signed with Ocean Energy Ventures, wholly-owned by Singapore’s MDL Marine Holdings.

Triyards’ new turret fabrication project is for London Marine Consultants (LMC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Triyards’ parent firm Ezra Holdings.

The latest contracts came less than two months after the recent $75.4m win for Triyards for two liftboat contracts in early January.

“It has been a strong start for us in 2015, with Triyards adding almost $180m in new orders,” said Chan Eng Yew, ceo of Triyards.

“Having already established our leadership in the liftboat segment in Asia, we remain committed to growing Triyards’ reputation as a first-class builder of a wide range of vessels and equipment,” he added.
