Two dead after explosion at Hanjin's Subic yard

Manila: An explosion at Hanjin Heavy Industries' Subic bay yard today has killed two workers and left three other injured, local newspapers report. Local police have confirmed that the explosion was not caused by damage to the yard's acetylene tank and have launched an inquiry into the matter. Hanjin has not put up any information or comments on its website as yet.  [18/01/08]
