Dubai: A UK regional marine promotion body has established an office-share address in Dubai to allow its members to benefit from a business presence in what it says is set to become 'one of the world's most competitive maritime clusters.'
Marine South East, in conjunction with the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), has opened the office in Emirates Towers to support members' interests across the United Arab Emirates. The body is headed by ceo Jonathan Williams and Stephen Sharpe (pictured right), with John Ellis (left) acting as business development manager, UAE.
In return for an annual fee, member companies will be able to benefit from dedicated telephone numbers answered in the company name by trained staff, a dedicated website, notification of market opportunities, use of office facilities for meetings, continuous PR support, access to collaborative meetings with other members, invitations to specialist events and personal introductions to potential clients.
