Veson Nautical opens Singapore office

Singapore: US-based maritime software developer, Veson Nautical, has opened a new representative office in Raffles Place, Singapore that will be headed by Xiaobang Yue and and Robert Marx. Yue is an award-winning software developer who has worked at Veson for the past year and a half and Marx has been instrumental in training and facilitating many important customer installations.

 The new office will allow the company to provide 24 hour service and work closely with clients in the Asia Pacific region, including Veson's newest customer, Thoresen Thai Agencies.  Yue and Marx will support Veson Nautical customers such as Rio Tinto, The Australian Wheat Board, ConocoPhillips Singapore, and Tesoro Singapore, among others.

Veson Nautical has also appointed Jesse DiIanni, to the company's project management team. DiIanni was previously project manager for MFC Global Investment Systems - part of John Hancock. In his role as Veson's Project Manager, he will work with customers pre-and-post implementation as well as provide support to other divisions within the company as needed.

Additionally, the company is also implementing new training and post-implementation programs for its customers.  The program includes a number of elements, such as a series of Webinars and one-on-one training sessions for it's Integrated Maritime Operations System.  [11/09/07]
