Hanoi: State-run Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) is spending US$185m to upgrade Van Phong port in Vietnam's central region into the country's first international container facility.
Two berths will be built from the first quarter of next year to handle super post panamax ships with an annual capacity of 2.4m teu. [30/07/07]
