Wan Hai cancels options for four container vessels
Taiwan’s carrier Wan Hai Lines has announced to the stock exchange that it will not proceed to exercise options for four feeder boxships at China’s Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard/China Shipbuilding Trading Company.

In November 2018, Wan Hai had revealed a firm order for twelve 2,038-teu boxships at the CSSC-affiliated yard, including the four options that should be exercised within three months.

The Taiwanese carrier did not state a reason for aborting the options.
