Taipei: Taiwan's Wan Hai Lines is spending US$217.2m for six new container ships each with a capacity to hold 1,800 teu. Wan Hai Lines will take delivery of the ships, which will be deployed on intra-Asian routes, starting 2011. Wan Hai is the world leader in intra-Asia trades. [31/12/07]
