Watch the launch of ONE's first new containership
The first newbuilding for Ocean Network Express (ONE) has been delivered by Imabari Shipbuilding.

The 14,000 teu One Minato was built at Imabari’s Hiroshima yard and is painted in the new container line’s distinctive magenta colouring.

The 14,000 teu vessel was originally ordered by K Line, one of the three partners in the ONE joint venture, and was planned to be named Minato Bridge.

 

ONE a merger of the container line businesses of NYK, Mitsui OSK Lines and K Line started operations on 1 April this year and is operationally headquartered in Japan. It is the world's sixth largest container line.
