New maritime medical service aims to deliver turnkey solution

OCL Oceanic Catering, Marine Medical Solutions and Tritan Software Corp have jointly launch a comprehensive medical advisory service for seafarers working on all vessel types.

Aptly named SeaMed24, the service aims to improve crew members health care and well-being onboard through 24/7 access to medical expertise whilst ensuring financial and operational efficiencies for vessel operators.

The SeaMed24 is backed by international health insurer Allianz Care.

SeaMed24 offers its clients a turnkey solution, from PEME management and development of onboard medical protocols, managing global regulatory health issues, providing advice for managing infectious diseases, managing medical emergencies 24/7, to medical technology and telemedicine, all supported through Allianz Global Care Network of more than 900,000 providers.

Thus far, SeaMed24 has won several contracts for the implementation of the services onboard more than 300 vessels.
