The Ocean Network Express (ONE) vessel ONE Aquila, which suffered a container collapse in bad weather sailing to Long Beach, will be out of service for much of November.

The 2018-built, 14,052 teu, Panama-flagged ONE Aquila, was due to arrive in the Port of Tacoma on 6 November for survey and discharge of collapsed containers. The vessel suffered a loss of containers in severe weather on 30 October and was diverted to Tacoma from its original destination of the Port of Long Beach.

“After completion of the discharge operations and repair works, the vessel is to continue her voyage as per her original service rotation,” ONE said in a customer advisory.

The ONE Aquila is now scheduled to call Long Beach on 26 November and Oakland on 4 December. The dates are subject to progress on the survey and discharge work in Tacoma.
