Evergreen Group is coming near to the end of a series of 30 newbuildings with the naming of the 8,508 teu Ever Lovely at CSBC Corp in Taiwan.

The Ever Lovely is the ninth in a series L-Type vessels built for Evergreen at CSBC and the penultimate in a 30 strong series.

The vessel was christened in CSBC’s Kaohsiung yard on Tuesday by Anna U. Obermeier, the wife of Pier Luigi Maneschi, chairman of Evergreen Shipping Agency (Italy). The ceremony was officiated by Bronson Hsieh, Evergreen’s  second vice group chairman.

The Ever Lovely is owned by Evergreen Marine (Singapore) and will be deployed on the Far East – South America trade.
