In the third in eight days, and the second from Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), for the 24,188 teu OOCL Turkiye which was named at Nantong Cosco Ship Engineering (NACKS) in China on Tuesday.

The OOCL will be joining the 21,188 teu OOCL Piraeus which was named last week at Dalian Cosco Ship Engineering (DACKS) last week.

Both vessels will be deployed on the Asia – Europe trade and are the second and third vessels in a series of 12 Megamax boxships ordered by OOCL.

Meanwhile as Seatrade Maritime News reported yesterday Ocean Network Express (ONE) took delivery of its first Megamax containership the 24,136 teu ONE Innovation from Japan Marine United on June 2. It is the first in a series of six such vessels for ONE.
