APL launcing new China - Malaysia service

APL, part of CMA CGM Group, is launching a new weekly China – Malaysia container shipping service.

The China Malaysia Service (CMS) links the Malaysian ports of Klang, Penang and Pasir Gudang with the Chinese ports of Qingdao, Shanghai, Xiamen, Nansha, Shekou and Hong Kong. 

APL said the service was developed jointly with its vessel sharing partners and provided a fifth additional sailing between China and Malaysia. The service will start sailing from Qingdao on 23 February.
