Briese Schiffahrts order four boxships at Huanghai Shipbuilding

German shipping company Briese Schiffahrts GmbH has entered into the shipbuilding contract with China’s Huanghai Shipbuilding for the construction of four 1,800teu containerships.

The vessels, are in 172 metres length and 28.4 metres width, will be classified by Bureau Veritas.

Delivery date for the new order has not been disclosed yet.

In April this year, the German owner made its first newbuilding order at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for the construction of four 1,900teu containerships, which are due for delivery in 2023.
