CMA CGM has expanded its 12-day service on the Kingston-Trinidad-Venezuela, 'Veneziola' route, to the Netherlands Antilles (Aruba, Curaçao) and Colombia (Cartagena).

The new ports add to the existing service which calls at the ports of Kingston, Port of Cabello, La Guaira, and Kingston.

At the same time, the shipping line has added two other Venezuelan ports: Guanta and El Guamache, to the service's itinerary.

Puerto España, meanwhile, was eliminated, but the port continues to be served by other CMA CGM services. Connections to CMA CGM's international long-distance services are still secured through Kingston (Jamaica), CMA CGM’s hub port.

The expanded ‘Veneziola’ service is organised as two alternate bi-weekly services covering the ports of Barcadera, Willemstad and Cartagena on a weekly basis, while the Venezuelan ports are served on a bi-weekly basis. Under this pattern, calls at the ports of El Guamache and La Guaira alternate with arrivals at Guanta and Puerto Cabello.

The details of the itineraries are the following: Itinerary 1: Calls in Kingston, Barcadera, Willemstad, El Guamache, La Guaira, Cartagena, Kingston Itinerary 2: Calls in Kingston, Barcadera, Willemstad, Guanta, Puerto Cabello, Cartagena, Kingston.

The service is provided by with the 1,338 teu, CMA CGM Ventania which was used to provide the previous ‘Veneziola’ service, and the 1,296 teu, AS Federica.
