Cosco Shipping Lines is reducing extra costs for cargo affected by current Ukraine situation for the entire supply chain.

According to the company’s notice, for cargo meet the condition of change of destination or return shipment, Cosco Shipping Lines will not charge the COD fee, and will provide extra 14 days demurrage & detention free for container in Ukraine or selected ports.

The company said it would continue to follow the impact of the conflict closely and provide safe and reliable shipping services to its customer.

At the end of February, Cosco Shipping Lines decided to stop accepting new booking for cargo to or from Ukraine. Cargo en route has been redirected.
