Folk Maritime will maintain a focus on optimising slot costs as it expands and seeks further global and regional partners to serve its clients in and around the Middle East, CEO Poul Hestbaek told Seatrade Maritime in a video interview.
Speaking at Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress, Hestbaek reflected on the company's initial months as a feeder and short sea operator, the impact of the Red Sea crisis on its operations, and the company's ambitions as a Saudi-based, Saudi-backed company playing its role in Vision 2030.
