Hapag-Lloyd opens new office in Ukraine

Hapag-Lloyd has opened a new office in Ukraine, the second largest European country by area covering a strategic geographic position between the European Union and Russia.

The new office is located in Odessa and have a total of 21 employees. Hapag-Lloyd is eyeing opportunities in Ukraine which is home to operations of some of the world´s biggest multinational companies.

“With the opening of our new office in the country, we pay tribute to the excellent business development and the enormous chances we see in this market,” commented Juan Pablo Richards, Senior Managing Director Region South Europe of Hapag-Lloyd.

In 2012 she was awarded the Order of Merit (Knight grade) by the French Government for her services to international journalism and in 2021 the upgrade to Chevalier grade.
