The two services will deploy three containerships on weekly basis. One service will depart from Dalian and call at Osaka and Kobe, while the other will call at Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya.
With the addition of these two Japanese services, Liaoning Port Group has launched six new international trading services for Australia, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea this year.
Jinjiang Shipping, container transport unit of Shanghai Port International Group (SIPG), has been engaged in port and shipping services to Japan for a long period. Opening of the new services will further strengthen cooperation between Liaoning Port Group and SIPG, two major port operators in north and south China.
