Maersk Line Limited chief to retire

The chief of Maersk’s US-flag operation Maersk Line Limited (MLL), John Reinhart, is to retire.

MLL president and ceo John Reinhart announced his retirement on Tuesday. He will remain in the top post till he leaves the company in January next year.

“I will be working with the board and leadership team to finalise a smooth transition plan for the future,” he said. “MLL has a strong team and financial base, and the company is in position to continue its 30-year tradition of service and growth.”

MLL said they would announce Reinhart’s replacement once a successor was set.
