From this weekend in Silverstone at the British F1 race the team’s cars sidepods will be emblazoned with the logo of Hong Kong-based Flex Box.

Flex Box manufacturers and ships over 25,000 containers a year is already involved as sponsor in a number of other motor racing categories

Henrik Nielsen, managing director and owner of Flex Box commented:“We have a strong pedigree in sports car racing, with partnerships across nine different categories, so Flex Box already has a presence in motor sport. We are very pleased to be extending that presence into Formula 1 for the first time, a move that is representative of our global ambitions for the growth of our business.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Flex Box to the Manor Marussia F1 Team. We are two very ambitious businesses, aspiring to dramatic growth on the international stage and making a major impact in our respective industries,” said John Booth, team principal of Manor Marussia F1.

Manor Marussia F1 is the smallest team in Formula 1 having been in the global motor racing series since 2010 when it was founded as Virgin Racing.
