The two services are being merged into a single loop that will be known as the PNW service.

Port rotation for the PNW service, that links China, Taiwan and South Korea with the Pacific Northwest, will remain the same except for the addition of a call at the APL terminal in Kaohsiung.

The merging of the two services will reduce vessel capacity from 12,000 teu split between 6,000 teu on PNW and 6,000 teu on the PS1 to 8,000 teu vessels on the new PNW service.

The last sailing of the PS1 service will be on 10 October.
