Ningbo Ocean Shipping has launched the first direct container service to Southeast Asia from the port of Taicang, China.

Deploying two containerships between 1,100-1,400 teu at first phase, the new service rotation is Taicang-Haiphong-Ho Chi Minh-Taicang on weekly basis.

With the addition of this new service, the container shipping routes between Taicang and Southeast Asia reach four, covering Haiphong, Ho Chi Minh City, Laem Chabang and Bangkok, the major port in Southeast Asia.

Ningbo Ocean Shipping is strengthening the development of Southeast Asia shipping routes and will expand its fleet scale to provide high quality logistics solutions for Yangtze river delta and Belt and Road regions.
