The Ocean Network Express (ONE) has upgraded an important regional service from fortnightly to weekly, as the Middle East and Indian Ocean Basin power ahead after the Covid pandemic.

“Ocean Network Express (ONE) is pleased to announce that the Maputo/Mombasa India Middle East service (MIM) will increase its sailing frequency from fortnightly to weekly in January 2023,” it said.

ONE will deploy additional vessels to the MIM service. The increased frequency will begin from the Westbound sailing arriving at Jebel Ali on 20 January and the Eastbound sailing from Mombasa on 31 January.

In the new weekly frequency, the MIM service rotation remains unchanged taking in Jebel Ali, Mundra, Mombasa, Maputo, and then returning direct to Jebel Ali.

Founded in 2017, Singapore-headquartered, ONE is a joint venture between Japanese container lines NYK, Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL), and K Line.
