OOCL launching Thailand – China service

The Hong Kong-listed Cosco Shipping Group company is set to expand its coverage between Southeast Asia and China early next year.

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is to launch a new China Laem Chabang service (CHL2) on 10 January 2025.

The company said the new service optimise its coverage between East China, South China and Thailand.

The CHL2 service will launch on 10 January from Shanghai. The service call on a rotation of Shanghai – Ningbo – Xiamen – Nansha – Laem Chabang – Shekou – Shanghai.

OOCL did not reveal the size or number of vessels to be deployed on the service.
