SITC starts new Indonesian operations

SITC Holdings has announced the opening of its Indonesian operations, which officially started last Friday.

SITC Indonesia is running the CKV service connecting Indonesia and China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Philippines, Taiwan via direct or transit for import and export.

The container shipowner said that the annual import and export volume of containers on the route has exceeded 40,000 teu. The volumes are expected to increase as the market develops, according to SITC.
