VIDEO: CMA CGM launches 'Shipping the Future' ambition

The world's third largest container line CMA CGM has launched a new image with the ambition of “Shipping the Future”.

The French line said 2017 is a landmark year for the company marking  new chapter in its history with Rodolphe Saadé becoming ceo, the formation of the Ocean Alliance, and the planned acquisition of Mercosul in Brazil.

This has been backed up with a new ambition “Shipping the Future” and new logo which the company said is “bolder and more powerful”. A video for “Shipping the Future” can be viewed below.

As the new ceo Rodolphe Saadé has set four priorities for the company. The are- “Customer Centricity" by creating genuinely innovative partnerships with our customers, continued development in maritime, inland and logistics sectors, innovation and digitalisation, and enhanced expertise combined with an agile organizsation.

"An extraordinary entrepreneurial adventure, CMA CGM is a family business which has become a world leader in just 39 years. Today it unveils its new ambition through a new slogan, a new visual identity and new graphic identity.,” said Tanya Saadé Zeenny, executive officer of the Group.

“This new ambition reflects our values of initiative, boldness and imagination, our ability to innovate and our determination to continue the group's development.”
