The CI5 service will start on 13 December operated by six vessels each with capacity of 4,250 teu.

The maiden voyage of the service will commence from China’s Qingdao port on a 42-day fixed round trip schedule.

The port rotation will be Qingdao, Busan, Shanghai, Shekou, Singapore, Port Klang (West port), Port Klang (North Port), Chennai, Kattupalli, Port Klang (North Port), Singapore, Pasir Gudang, Shekou, Kaohsiung, and back to Qingdao.

“Wan Hai Lines is confident that the new service will provide customers with better frequency and service coverage between China/South East Asia and India,” the Taiwanese carrier stated.
