xChange, European Space Agency and Alphaliner to discuss Securing Global Trade at Intermodal Europe 2024

Thursday, 19 September 2024 – As eager anticipation continues to grow for Intermodal Europe 2024, the agenda for its conference has been announced, which will take place under the umbrella theme of Securing Global Trade and see representatives from xChange, Alphaliner, European Space Agency and AELER take to the stage to lead a series of panel discussions, case studies, and presentations.

Taking place 12 – 14 November 2024 at the Rotterdam Ahoy, Netherlands, Intermodal Europe is the leading industry event for the container shipping market. Each year, its conference provides a critical platform for updates on the state of the global container market while highlighting emerging trends, industry opportunities, and challenges facing the sector.

Confirmed speakers to date include:

The agenda will get underway with a look at how current and emerging threats to global trade routes are impacting the global container market. The conversation will then flow to consider compliance, sustainability AI, risk management, and trade security in further conversations.

For instance, we are excited to welcome a session from The European Space Agency ESA, which will no doubt offer an incredible insight into how space technologies can be applied to the intermodal sector as a whole, specifically its Business Applications & Space Solutions Program,” continued Landers.

Intermodal Europe 2024 will take place 12 – 14 November 2024 at the Rotterdam Ahoy, Netherlands. Thousands of attendees from over 60 countries are expected to attend, with more than 120 suppliers confirmed on the sold-out exhibition floor.
